An investment creating wealth and jobs…
Maghreb Steel invests 3.7 billion Moroccan Dirhams for a new factory site set up on 80 hectares in the new industrial park “Bled Solb ". The production capacity is a million and half of tons of steel per year. It will create 1100 jobs. The Start-up is planned for the last quarter of 2009.Construction of the hot rolling complex in 4 stages:
- stage 1: the hot rolling mill "Steckel"
- stage 2: the heavy plate rolling mill.
- stage 3: Meltshop and continuous casting.
- stage 4: the blast furnace.
