Large investment program
Within the frame of its development strategy of the national industry, Maghreb Steel launches now a large investment program for the setting-up of a hot-rolling complex with an overall production capacity of 1.5 million tons on a surface area of 50 ha.The goals of this complex are:
- The upstream integration to reduce the importations and so the cost price
- The satisfaction of the national needs as a result of the great works launched in Morocco
- The development of the hot rolled sheet exportation
- The satisfaction of the national needs as a result of the great works launched in Morocco
- The development of the hot rolled sheet exportation
The starting up of the production is planned for 2009.
